Roberta Mulligan is a professional social worker with over 20 years’ experience working with young people and their families. She is also a qualified systemic psychotherapist or family therapist as it is also known. Roberta has over a decade of experience working as a senior social worker in statutory child and adolescent mental health services for the H.S.E. in both community clinics and inpatient services for young people. Roberta has worked extensively with young people who have self-harmed or experienced thoughts or attempts at suicide. Roberta is also interested in the role of quality assurance in public services for young people and has experience of working with children and families in other contexts like hospital settings and in child protection services.
