Mark O’Connell has been working with children and families since the 1990s, I have a broad ranging experience of the immense variety of challenges young people and their parents or carers live. I worked for many years in residential care homes for young people, always interested in finding ways to engage and accompany young people on their path. I worked in the NHS CAMHS from 2009 to 2016 managing several teams working with adopted and looked after children, as well as delivering attachment/trauma aware approaches to a wider group of young people with complex difficulties. I then developed a social enterprise from our organic farm base offering a full range of therapies as well as creative and nature based experiences. I now have teams in East Anglia and Devon – creative therapists, psychologists, and psychiatrists working with young people (and families) ‘At the Edge of Potential’ around mental health and wellbeing.
